Edward Teach and Bart Roberts
Edward Teach, known as Blackbeard, and Bartholomew Roberts, called Black Bart, were among the most famous pirates of the Golden Age of Piracy in the early eighteenth century. Blackbeard was feared for his intimidating appearance and command of the ship Queen Anne’s Revenge, while Roberts became one of the most successful pirates, capturing hundreds of vessels. Both operated in the Caribbean and Atlantic, targeting merchant ships and building legendary reputations. Their daring exploits, strict codes, and dramatic lives made them iconic figures in maritime history.
