Castle Acre Priory

Castle Acre Priory is a medieval monastic site located in Norfolk, England. Founded in the late eleventh century by the Warenne family, it became one of the earliest and most important Cluniac priories in England. The surviving ruins include the impressive west front of the church, cloister remains, domestic ranges, and monastic buildings, illustrating the architectural and spiritual ideals of the Cluniac order.
