Binham Priory

Binham Priory is a medieval monastic site located in Norfolk, England. It was founded in the late eleventh century as a Benedictine priory dependent on St Albans Abbey. The surviving remains include substantial parts of the priory church, nave, west front, and monastic buildings, illustrating the architectural development of religious communities in medieval England. The site reflects the spiritual, social, and economic role of monastic institutions before the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the sixteenth century.
